. . . where we offer a warm, cozy environment students sometimes refer to as 'their studio away from home'.  Nestled on the corner of 15607 - 100A Avenue by the Jasper Place Grant MacEwan College, the ARTRA Art School provides a nurturing atmosphere where people of all ages can receive high quality art courses.  Our classes are small and this allows us to provide the best in individual attention and personal guidance.

Frank Haddock and Susanne Lamoureux are the main instructors at The ARTRA Art School and are known for their passion and commitment to upholding the highest standards in art instruction.

The Artra Art School offers courses for beginners, intermediates and advanced level students who want to explore drawing and painting with a focus on realism.  The range of mediums that are taught include graphite or pencil, coloured pencil, watercolour, oil, acrylic.

Frank and Susanne understand developing art skills requires learning a visual language, and believe that this language is best taught with many demonstrations.  They believe that students learn best by watching and doing. These talented professionals generously share their art knowledge as they demonstrate new techniques in class projects.

The Artra Art School is open to all people who are interested in developing or enhancing their artistic skills.  Even those who feel they can only draw stick figures - we have courses for you!
